MG 1/100 Destiny Gundam Heine Custom UNBOXING (Dragon Momoko)

Hello world!

Sorry for a long hiatus (again) I've been really busy at my job (you don't know how hard it is to be a teacher, unless you are one).

I've been to busy that I was unable to complete building this kit (so sad). I end up selling this kit after partially building this.

Actually, I already finished the kit, but I was unable to build the weapons and other stuff. I really just wanted to update this blog. So please spare me T.T

Anyway, I was able to take pictures when I was unboxing this kit, and I want to share this with you guys.

Backgroud of this kit: Well I believe that Dragon Momoko (DM) thought of getting the design of the Metal Build Destiny of Bandai and make it a plastic model kit for us. And since DM is a third party company, they made it more affordable for its customers.

Bottom line is, if you want a metal build destiny but you are short on money, this kit is your option.

My thoughts about this kit:

The plastic is decent, I would say 85-90% quality of a bandai, There are a lot of fitting issues so you have to use sand paper until it fits.

Details are great! color separation is also great. For sticker, well its typical bootleg stickers, and even without the stickers (aside from camera lenses and eye stickers) the looks will still be amazing.

For water slide decals, I was unable to use them, but I think they are great.

Well, here are what you will get after opening the box.

Like I said, I was able to finish the kit, But was unable to make a detailed review of it. However, Building this kit is not for beginners, specially handling this kind of plastic. The quality of the plastic is nice, but since it is a bootleg, you may encounter some issues. So building this kit may take your patience to a practice. Just be careful and don't rush things up.

You may also encounter stretch marks while building this kit, so make sure to trim the pegs using sand paper to make a perfect fit.

I also recommend to panel line this kit since it has good details in it. Panel lining this kit will really bring out it's details. (Note: The image of the box is not exactly what you will get once you finished the kit, you may have to paint this kit to achieve the details on the image of the box)

FINAL THOUGHTS: This is an amazing kit. This kit is for people out there who wants a metal build but can't afford it's price. But PLEASE do support the original one, since they are the one who are working hard to make this industry running.

I will also take this opportunity to announce that at this time, I will be focusing on 1/144 scales than 1/100 scales due to the reason that I have a small space in my room.

Also, I will be more focusing on Bandai kits than third party kits. Not because I'm a purist or anything. But this is my support for those people behind the success of this industry.

Last thing, I may have a little time for my hobby that also means that I may not update this blog that well. But I make sure that once I have finished a kit, I will make a review for that kit and post it here. (Well that is the main reason why I build kits is to share it to you guys).

Anyway, again I'm sorry for the long hiatus and expect that I will be a long time until I update this blog.

See ya!
