HGCE 1/144 Blast Impulse Gundam (PBandai)

Hello there!

Today, we are going to take a look on another PBandai, the HGCE 1/144 Blast Impulse Gundam!

Again, since this is another version of the original HGCE 1/144 Force Impusle Gundam, we will focus on the difference between the two. You can look my review for the said kit on this link:
http://mygunplareview.blogspot.com/2018/06/hgce-1144-force-impulse-gundam.html

So before anything else, let's go!

BOX and RUNNERS:

For runners, I didn't include the all the runners since its just the same with the previous version with recoloring. I include however are the runners new for this kit.

MOBILE SUIT

So here it is, the main mobile suit once build, with minor panel lining.
It goes with the same shield and beam riffle.

BACKPACK and WEAPON

So here is the Blast Silhouette that can be easily be connected at the back of the Impulse Gundam

Once connected as a backpack, there are two option for those two  large cylindrical shape on the side of the pack...

it can be used as a machine launcher...

or a big rail gun.

It also has a handle on its side, which can be held by the MS in awkward position.

There is also a rail gun that can be folded forward to the shoulders.. however, the head is on the way if you are going to fold it forward, so you have to either remove the head first, or turn the head side wards.

For weapons, aside from shield and beam riffle, the kit will give you a long beam javelin that is exclusive for Blast Impulse Gundam

OVER ALL

Well, before I go to my verdict, I just want to apologize for a lousy way of building this kit. I know I'm not a clean builder and I left some numb marks on my kits, but I make sure that I clean them as possible as I can. But for this one, I did not bother cleaning them..

Why you ask? One reason is that it is hard to clean numb marks in dark color, such as this one, specially the dark parts.

Second, I think Bandai have a mediocre work for this kit. Some parts of the Blast pack has a hollow parts on it. One is on the rail gun on the shoulders and the other one is on the opposite side of the handles for the big rail gun.

Also the way they put the stickers on the lenses on the rail gun, It just come off easily.

Aside from those, I have no other complains...

So again, over all for this kit

building process: normal (good for beginners)
design: 7/10
details: 7/10 (considering that its a HG)
articulation: 10/10

OVERALL: 8/10 or 7.5/10

Do you have to buy this kit? If you have a HGCE Force Impulse and a Sword Impulse Gundam it is a good buy just to complete the Impulse collection for HGCE line.. However, if you are just buying this kit alone, I do not recommend it. Considering the mediocrity work of Bandai and the fact that you have to pay more since it is a PBandai... and the lack of accessories (you will just get the backpack and a javelin) you may want to consider saving your money on buying other kits.

Just buy this kit if you want to complete the Impulse trio... but if you don't want to, avoid this kit...

Well, that is all for me and please look forward on my next review... thanks
