RG 1/144 Justice Gundam

Hi there! its been a while since I had my last review... Ive been busy this past months... well setting that aside... lets go on to the review... this time lets take a look for another RG kit... The 1/144 RG Justice Gundam from the Gundam Seed series :)

before we start, ive already done some minor custom paints on this kit...so dont expect to have the same result on your kits :)

PLATES

Opening the box, you will get a total of 11 plates, a decal sheet and a manual.

FEET and LEGS

Detail on the feet is great, it has a unique pointy feet, and its toes can bend..

the legs is double jointed and can bend around 180... great details. double hinge once connected to the feet... so pretty great articulation

SKIRTS

Front skirts are can move individually. the side skirts hinders the movement of the legs though, but can still do some awesome poses. the back skirt is in one piece and doesnt move.. aside from those, great color separation and details.

BODY

For the body, well, great details... the hatch can be opened, but no pilot inside... the stomach can bend but not to much... and once connected on the skirts, it can rotate but not all the way...

SHOULDER and ARMS

For the arms, it has a double jointed elbow and has a great armor split once bend. great details and color separation. the shoulder is also great... pretty detailed. for hands, well it has a trigger-finger hand, an open palm hand, a pair of closed fist and RG hands

HEAD

now unto the head.. well it is great... has a nice details on it...my only complain is that the clear part on its fore head. its just a plain clear plastic... they should have been blue... so minor painting is required if you want great results. aside from that... the head is awesome.

MS
Once all part is connected... the kits has a great articulation and can do some awesome poses...which will be seen once connected to the back pack

BACKPACK
This kit comes with a huge back pack. with that, this kit has three modes, normal, flight and a glider mode.. well, all mode looks great.. my only complain on the backpack is that theres a gap between the upper and lower part of its sides... so maybe, using a glue would help...

WEAPONS and ACCESSORIES

Well given the huge back pack... theres less on the weapons, It has a shield beam sabers and a beam riffle that resembles the one from the Freedom Gundam...(well given that they were built on the same time...) oh... and it has beam boomerang attached on its shoulders...

OVER ALL

This is a great kit! My only complain on this kit is the clear parts and the gaps on those back pack! aside from that, its awesome... a snap build will also turn to awesome outcome. the details is deep and the color separation can easily be noticed... but an extra effort will bring this kit into life.

And as you can see, this kit is all in red (and its shades)... so you probably have to do some sanding for those nusty nub marks...

for my personal preference, well im not a fan of justice gundam, nor its other variations... its design just doesnt on my taste... To be honest, I just bought it for the sake of my RG Freedom, and they both look great together... for the design and protagonist aura, I vote for the Freedom, but for gimmicks and articulation, Ill vote for this kit... I just dont like the design...but other people do...still this kit is still great for me... so if you like justice.. this kit is for you...

OTHER PICS

Well that all about it... thank you for reading and kindly look forward on my next review...probably next month :)

  1. Hi there, nice review! I just ordered both this and the Freedom so can't wait :) One note, as fas as I've seen the splits on the sides of the backpack are intentional, you can push the wings in there to secure them in flight or glider mode.
