RG 1/144 STRIKE FREEDOM

Hello readers..

It's been a long while since my last post. Well I'm sorry for being on a long hiatus, I just lost my phone back then and was saving money for my hobby and new phone...

Well anyway! I'm back! lets start this by having a review on a RG Strikefreedom, the OP mobile suit in Gundam Destiny series...

PLATE:

PLATES
Nice details, small parts, just as an RG is supposed to be. However, the disappointment is on those crappy gold plates. If you really want to have some shine on them, you should probably paint them.

PS: I forgot to take pictures on the decals and the manual... so I'm not including them

PARTS

FEET
Simple, yet stunning. Details are good. Can bend on three parts.

LEGS
Now, these where the gold paint take place. I really recommend to paint the gold plates to add more realistic color in them.

Details are good, double jointed knees and has sliding mechanism when bent.

SKIRTS

Simple, and has good details. Front skirts and back skirts are connected separately.

BODY

Body is nice, has panel lines in them, however, due to its dark color, black ink will not be so visible. I'm planning on pane lining them with gold.

Color and part separation are nice, has an opening cock pit. rail guns are connected on below the waist, which will be also its side skirts.

ARMS

Double jointed elbow and has nice details.

HEAD

Good details and anime accurate... well maybe more details than the anime. Decals for the fore and back head camera are too small, so be very careful on applying them.

MOBILE SUIT

No comment here.. just breath taking.

BACK PACK

Wings can be bend backwards and can open as pictures below. As a bonus you can spread it more exposing it's gold chrome plates.

ACCESORIES AND WEAPONS

For accessories, it has a pair of closed fist, open palm, trigger finger and RG Hands.

Weapons are those beam sabers, beam riffle and the energy shield.

BEAM SABERS

Beam sabers are simple, no need for panel lining. However, you could connect them both just like in the picture.

I cant make them hold it using the trigger finger hand though.. using the RG hand will do.

If not in used, you can connect them on the side skirts (rail gun).

BEAM RIFFLE

Well, very simple, and has minor details on it.

Both guns can be connected at the side when not in used by pulling the back skirts down, slide the rail guns at the back, and pulling out the connector on the waist. Also, you can combine the two riffles to make a beam cannon.

ENERGY SHIELD

Lastly the energy shield, the color details on it are decals, and aligning them are such a pain.

OVERALL

Such a nice kit. My only complain are the crappy gold parts. If you don't want to paint, it will not be that good.

Nice articulation, you could pull of  some of its signature poses.

That's all I can say for now readers and I hope you can look forward on my next review.

Thanks!
